BLACK HAWK COUNTY – Registration opens October 1 for the Annual Under the Harvest Moon on Saturday, November 8, at the Hartman Reserve Interpretive Building. Celebrating 30 years, this annual fundraiser is a community favorite and often sells out quickly.
Event tickets are $50 per person or $360 for a table of eight. Festivities for the evening feature happy hour, raffles, and dinner and dessert will be catered by Fairbank Food Center.
Along with being a delightful evening of food and fellowship, Under the Harvest Moon is also a fundraiser that benefits Black Hawk County Conservation projects and county park initiatives. Conservation staff have been working hard to gather an impressive list of silent and live auction events.
- Silent auction items include: Winter yoga retreat for 10, Pollinator planting up to one acre, St. Louis Cardinals basket, Backyard pollinator plot with plants from Blooming Prairie, and more!
- Live auction items feature: VIP seats to next year’s Under the Harvest Moon event, a Tram ride for 10 on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail, a Holiday light show bus tour, an afternoon with the Hartman Reserve ambassador animals, a moonlight paddle at Turkey Ridge, and more!
