Black Hawk County, IA -- The Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors invites the community to a public event unveiling the County’s new Strategic Plan on Tuesday, August 26, from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Hartman Reserve Nature Center, 657 Reserve Drive, Cedar Falls. (see map of construction route below)
The three-year plan provides a clear framework to guide decision-making, services, and investments. Developed with input from staff, community leaders, and residents, it reflects a shared vision and priorities for the future of Black Hawk County.
“This plan represents months of thoughtful work by County Government leaders with input from community organizations and the public at large," said Tavis Hall, Chair of the Board of Supervisors. “Their efforts ensured that voices from across the community were heard and considered in shaping the future direction of Black Hawk County.”
During the community event, board members will highlight the planning process, introduce the new Mission and Values, and outline next steps for implementation. The Strategic Plan will be formally adopted earlier that day during the Board of Supervisors’ regular 9 a.m. meeting.
