VOTING IN A PANDEMIC
The COVID-19 pandemic touches everyone’s life in multiple ways. One very important way is how it affects voting in elections. The continued proper functioning of our democracy is dependent on citizens having uninterrupted access to voting.
Polling Place Voting
While we hope as many people as possible vote from home, we will still have polling places open for voting on Election Day, November 3. A number of polling places will be combined. To see where you vote for this election, click here. Face masks and shields will be available to voters, clear acrylic barriers will be placed between voters and precinct workers at paperwork stations, and other safety steps will be taken.
Watch for news releases and other information on the “Current Elections” tab that will follow our progress as we adapt to the peculiar challenges of administering an election during a pandemic.
Address questions to the Election Office at 319-833-3007 or email@example.com.
